Waiting for the paint to dry on my latest commission of Wading. Should be soon. I hope to be able to mail it out at the end of this week! I think it has turned out real well and the patron contacted me to say he was looking forward to getting it.
Below is the original that he wanted an enlargement of. Prints can be bought of this one. I don’t know if I will offer prints of the enlargement. The spacing is a little different due to the change in proportions. Still thinking about that.
Wow, some very important people want to get to know me! Prince Harry is following me on Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg wants to be my friend on Facebook! Scammers to the right of me and scammers to the left of me! Scammers all over the internet.
Clyde said he was sure that Mark Zuckerberg and Prince Harry want to discuss a collaboration of my artwork for the Palace and Facebook!
Just saw a whole pack of pigs flying by my window!
If you like my work but don’t have any more room on your walls be sure to check out my paintings on just about anything but the kitchen sink on
Not sure, but I think I have mentioned before that people have been telling me for decades that I have lost weight. I am the same weight I was when I got married with the same measurements so I have often wondered why people are always saying that to me. I guess I have withered with age.
Just wish they wouldn’t say it with such a big smile. That implies I needed to lose weight which I don’t think is true. According to the doctor’s chart my weight is exactly what it should be. My BMI is on the low end of normal.
Now Clyde is another matter. He is trying to lose some weight to take the pressure off the knee that was injured. He is losing about a pound a week which is fast enough. Anyway, he recently received a comment on his weight loss that I have never heard before. A friend said his clothes are growing on him.
Be sure to check out my Special Promotions at the bottom of the blog that end Sunday!
Yes! I dodged another high costing medical procedure! My doctor says the pulsing and constricted ear problem is due to the extreme changes in weather! No ridiculously high MRI for me! I will just keep on yawning and ignore the pulsing.
Check out my latest Suggestion painting! I think the pears are doing a a dance, too!
Clyde will have his knee operation on the sixteenth. He can not take any form of aspirin until then and I am concerned that he will not be able to sleep. He can take tylenol but I doubt that will help much. It never helps me with any kind of pain. He says the pain is at its worst when he is lying down.
I told him that maybe he will have to try to sleep standing up like a horse and he said that we could glue him to the wall and see how that works out. I don’t think glue on his skin is a good idea.
Maybe we can use wall paper paste and seal him in the way Lucy thought she sealed Ethel in on one of the I Love Lucy episodes.
Let’s hope Clyde does as well as the cat below. Public domain kitty. I am no fool. I am fighting image thieves all the time.
Trying to get a few more illustrations done for Fiddling at Midnight’s Farmhouse but I really am getting tired and a little low on ideas. I will check out some more poems today and hopefully get one done today and one tomorrow. I will be glad to get back to my Skyline paintings, Kendall Expressions, and my main work of this beautiful area.

When I started this blog I really didn’t know what to say other than stuff about my artwork which is difficult. I communicate through pictures, not words. After a while I just wanted to have some humor so I started this section of the blog. I thought I would probably burn out and stop trying for funny stuff even though Clyde supplies me with a lot of it without trying. It is just the way he is.
I am pleased that I keep coming up with funnies here. Sometimes I do borrow from other sources but I still keep this section going and I think as long as I have a blog I will keep on laughing as I write.
To cease to learn is to cease to live. Well, to cease to laugh is also to cease to live!
In honor of my main contributor to this section here are some great bird jokes.
What did the chicken say to the duck when it was about to cross the road?
Don’t do it. You will never hear the end of it.
What did one bird with binoculars watching people say to the other bird.
It is a legitimate hobby.
What did the Blue Footed Booby say to his friend about his feet?
Yeah, I wanted black but this is the only color they had that fit.
As I have mentioned before, I hate to shop! I am probably the fastest shopper ever! I’ll bet I could set records for the least amount of time spent finding something to buy. Sometimes this is great and sometimes it is not so great. I didn’t shop around for my new phone and my brother has not stopped laughing about the price I paid.
Oh well. My dancing shoes are starting to get holes in the inside so I guess it won’t be long before there are holes all the way through. Time to get on over to the shoe store and spend about five minutes or less getting a new pair and then it is off to Line Dance class! Yes! Got to step away from the computer!
Today is the last day for this week’s specials below! Don’t miss out!
Please click on my Youtube! I should have a new one soon!
I really don’t like to sit and yesterday I joked about having the actual fear of sitting disorder called Cathisophobia. We will eventually move and when we do I am going to see if we can’t have our computer up high so I can stand.
I can stand all day in front of an easel but sitting wears me out. I have to spend a lot of time promoting my work on the computer so it would be great if I could stand, click and type away!
I am promoting The Inflectionist as much as possible! It is great to have one of my paintings on the cover of a United Kingdom magazine and an article on me! So here is the link! Please buy a copy!
The ants are back and sipping away at the poison. Hope it works. Now I have a new kitchen friend! The last few days I have seen evidence of an intruder and today the Have a Heart mouse trap has a guest sleeping in.
This is our second mouse and I hope the last. Clyde will take it to the river and set it out there. I hope it is having a nice nap after scrambling all over my kitchen last night. When it comes to pests our kitchen is the place to be!
