Sometimes I think I should just take a break from all my work and just relax.  I used to despise shopping and still don’t like it but these days it is a break.  There are zillions of things I would do if I could talk myself out of computer work and artwork but I am driven to get my art out to people and that requires a lot of effort every day.

I did get to the lake a few times this summer and my hubby went with me!  He is not much for swimming but birds and butterflies always show up  so he is happy where ever he goes.  He actually writes down data every single time he is out of the house.  Now, that is dedication!

Anyway, I am hoping to make a lot of progress on my latest painting today.  It started out good but I had to take such a long break from it that it is presenting problems right now.  Live to paint, love to paint, but it can be a real pain in the you know where at times.

Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler

Yesterday Clyde was about to leave the house with food in his beard.

You have food in your beard.

That’s just my reserves.

I thought your reserves were the pieces you drop on your chest when you lie down.

Those are my auxiliary pieces.

Considering how we eat and the clothes we wear I guess people could say we are uncouth.

I lost my couth in my youth.

Argh!  The Word Man strikes again.

You know this is going on the internet.

Yeah.
